III.The Portrait Experience
Not ready to choose a collection or artwork yet?
That’s absolutely fine!
The Portrait Experience is the starting point for every booking and includes your makeup consultation, guided session, and one professionally edited digital portrait.
Your $850 Portrait Experience fee is included in the total price of any collection you choose—it is not added on top. You may select a collection in advance or wait until your viewing appointment. Collections start from $NZ 3,000
How Collection Pricing Works
Can I use the images for sending to others?
Yes! If you decide you would like to order more than just the one image, the value of the Portrait Experience ($850) can be credited towards an Artwork or Collection
How does Ordering Work?
Viewing Sessions & Ordering: Some FAQ
Included with the session, you have the licence and the right to share your images with others - friends, family, employers and even for promotion to get work (for example - as a modelling or talent portfolio)
The only exception is using images for commercial use - in other words - selling these images to a third party such as an advertising or marketing company. In these kinds of situations, this must be by arrangement wiith
Lumenova®, and a commercial licence be granted.
Can I change from The Portrait Experience package to a collection or Artwork instead?
You see your portraits the same day as your session
You have the opportunity to choose your favourite images and decide whether a single portrait or a collection feels right for you.
There is no pressure to decide everything before your session, although it is good to have some idea.
What do clients often choose?
Some clients begin with a single portrait that immediately feels like the one they want to keep. Others find that the experience reveals more than they expected, and choose a collection so they can hold onto the full range of the session.
In terms of what you are getting for your financial
investment, the Lumen and Legacy collections are the best value for money
Some people may have a large wall or a beautiful home they would love to grace with exquisitely framed portrait artwork, while others may be drawn to a smaller selection of images.
Which collection is most popular?
The Legacy Collection is often the most popular choice, because it captures a fuller spectrum of moods, expressions, and moments explored during a portrait session. It allows clients to keep not just one or two favourite images, but a more complete reflection of the experience. It is also the best value for money.
Beautifully printed and mounted images are ready for framing as artworks, and presented in the custom-made Folio Box, the Legacy Collection also offers both elegance and flexibility; the collection can be kept unde rthe coffee table or pn the matelpiece ready to show lopved ones or friends.
And of course, for that special partner - the more private and intimate images can be safely and elegantly kept for their eyes only in a custom folio box of your choosing in the bedroom
When is my order ready?
A minimum deposit of 20% is required to place the order.
If the order is paid for in full at the viewing, or when 50% is paid - work to get your order ready for
pick up will be commenced immediately.
.For Lumen, Legacy, and Wall Artwork orders - allow a minimum of three weeks. After one week, your images will be emailed to you, and assuming there are no changes to be made, the prints, folio box and artworks willl be available about three weeks after that.
Signature Collections - allow a minimum of one week. These can be emailed to you securely through Apple Mail-Drop
Can I request changes to the order?
At the viewing, editing treatments to the images such as cropping, altering and removing will be discussed where appropriate. As far as possible the edited images will be authentic to those shown at the viewing.
Once edited and presented to you - if there are any minor changes to the images that you would like to be made - these can be requested within 72 hours of viewing them. There is no additional charge for this.
Changes to the order in terms of which images are ordered cannot be made however. An additional viewing session will need to be arranged for this, with payment of a new viewing fee.
